Diagnosis/Price
In order to give you an accurate price we must visit your property to check the tankless water heater. We'll determine if replacement is the best route and identify any other issues before giving you a firm quote.
Replacement
Once we have agreed on the price we will obtain the water heater and perform the replacement. Most tankless water heater replacements take 4-6 hours if the original installation was done correctly.
Payment
Upon successful completion of the replacement we will ask for payment. HPC accepts cash, check and card.
Warranty
The final step is to register your tankless water heater replacement with the manufacturer for warranty purposes. HPC will register your new tankless water heater within 5 days of replacement.

Hanahan Plumbing Co provides Navien tankless water heaters for replacement. In some cases we may install Rinnai tankless water heaters.
HPC does not install water heaters provided by the owner because we will only warranty materials that we provide. We do not install or provide warranty service for water heaters purchased from Lowes or Home Depot.
We get a lot of calls from homeowners wanting to know if we work with home warranty companies. The answer is no, we will not perform any work for a home warranty company nor will we provide them with diagnoses, price break downs or invoices.

Navien Tankless Water Heater Installation
Hanahan Plumbing Co recommends Navien tankless water heaters for a number of reasons.
First, all of the Navien tankless water heaters we install have a built in thermostat on the front of the unit. This means you don't have to run wire into your home for a wall mounted thermostat.
Second, the units we install can be installed indoors or outdoors.
Third, the interior components are stainless steel.
Another thing we like is the workspace inside the unit which makes repairs easier than other brands. Did we mention that we only install the condensing units which have an excellent Energy Star rating.
Additionally, Navien doesn't require annual service for warranty purposes, although given the hard water conditions around Charleston it is recommended.
Finally, the only repairs we've ever made to the Navien water heaters we've installed were caused by nearby lightning strikes which created a surge and damaged the PCB, so their track record with us is strong.
